Our global Analyst Program is a two-year journey designed to develop recent university graduates. Analysts begin their BlackRock careers on a two-week orientation in New York City, followed by on-going training and professional development throughout the program. We have graduate opportunities in our Budapest office across the following teams:


ALTERNATIVES
Build alternative investment portfolios
BlackRock offers access to a broad spectrum of alternative investments—including real assets, private equity, credit, alternative solutions, and hedge fund solutions — all organized under BlackRock Alternative Investors. Each business area is responsible for strategic planning and oversight as well as investment management activities.


BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Provide support to portfolio management teams and client groups
Business Operations is responsible for all information required for the end to end investment management process, providing operational support to BlackRock’s portfolio management teams and global client groups.


FINANCE
Accounting, financial reporting and control of BlackRock’s financial resources
Finance’s mission is to be a trusted, world-class global finance organization. To achieve this, we must deliver timely, accurate and insightful financial information and analysis, be thought leaders and partner across the firm in the context of a rigorous control and risk management environment.


LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
Oversee BlackRock’s compliance with laws and regulatory requirements
The Legal & Compliance team’s mission is to deliver the highest quality services to the firm; to understand and advise regulatory requirements and best practices; and to develop and implement an effective compliance program that is designed to address regulatory, client and firm requirements globally.


FINANCIAL MARKETS ADVISORY
Advise clients with complex capital markets exposures
The Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) group helps financial institutions, long-term investors, finance ministries and central banks address their most difficult, and interesting capital market, balance sheet and regulatory challenges. The customized services our team provides include customized model construction, complex asset valuation, strategic consulting, asset management and regulatory advisory.


PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS
Create and deliver analytics to help solve business problems
The Portfolio Analytics Group (PAG) within BlackRock Solutions delivers analytics that provide transparency to each client's whole portfolio on Aladdin®. The group uses world-class data, financial models and technology to create actionable insights for investment and client teams. Analysts develop a broad understanding of finance, clients, and technology; they learn to navigate all groups at BlackRock to solve business problems.


SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
At the heart of BlackRock is a world-class technology system called Aladdin. It is an unmatched operating platform that unites all the information, people, and technology needed to manage money in real time and at every step in the investment process. Unlike other financial firms, technology at BlackRock is a profit center, not a support function, and stands on its own as a fast-growing business. Developers work in teams focused on specific components of Aladdin and use innovative new technologies to build solutions for BlackRock and many Aladdin clients.
