position: Project Manager

We are recruiting a Project Manager to join one of our major service lines (account) located in Budapest.

Qualifications required: civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering

Tasks:

  • Under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager prepares and manages capital works and asset replacement-related projects of the Client
  • End-to-end management of Projects according to your experience (could be General construction works, EV charger and other e-solution projects, Fuel system works, Future fuel projects with a focus on LNG, or other...)
  • Coordinates between suppliers, contractors and Client representatives for the execution of project works performed at various sites
  • Actively monitors, and supervises onsite works, and ensures all HSSE standards and procedures are compliantly running
  •  Acts as a link between Client, and suppliers
  • Supports Senior Project Manager and Project Admin’s daily job
  • Collaborates with project and operation team, sharing information and knowledge
  • Uses related software to manage and coordinate work performance and identify opportunities to improve processes
  • Manages opening/closing PRs POs according to the Client’s indication
  • Takes part in the selection and evaluation of new suppliers
  • Schedules yearly project works plan as per Client directive
  • Performs and manages all work in accordance with established safety procedures during site visits
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards
  • Ensure fluent communication between Clients and contractors
  • Manages handover process
  • Matching goods received vs. invoice to WO and PO
  • Manages asset capitalisation together with the Client’s representative
  • During the warranty period manages related works
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Acts as principal contact/liaison between Clients, suppliers and Requestors for all project work
  • Control the WOs, POs, capitalisation according to contractual scorecard target figures
  • Utilizes related software applications to manage work order history and track project’s costs
  • Keeps client representatives appraised as to the scheduled works
  • Maintains links with the client on general project activities
  • Provides efficient database to ROM and PSC to update all related FMP data changes (Site and Equipment details)
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Provides sources for management reports/analysis of outstanding jobs
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes, planning or performance through project demands and expectations


Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil)
  • Min 3 years of experience in delivering Programme and/or Projects
  • Native Hungarian language
  • English: Advanced – spoken and written (with proven language exam)
  • Strong communication, negotiation and engagement skills
  • Solution-focused, comfortable with uncertainty and a can-do approach
  • Experience in Budget management & Cost Management
  • Commercial mindset and effective performance management experience
  • Strong HSSE background
  • Driving Licence Category B
