position: Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Qualifications required: Electrical engineering, Power energetics, electrotechnician, electrician


Tasks:

  • Electrical Commissioning of electrical equipment and interfaces to other systems for Low/Medium and DC- Voltage Systems
  • Integrating and monitoring the companies subcontracted to perform commissioning of LV/MV/DC systems, and clarification of interfaces between the various subcontractors
  • Inspection of LV/MV/DC systems for completeness and sufficient cleanliness during Turn-over package handover process.
  • Demonstration of essential functionalities and protection devices to the relevant authorities, depending on contractual requirements and rules and regulations
  • Commissioning of electrical components like:
    • MV switchgears including protection circuits and interlocks
    • AC/DC switchgears including protection circuits and interlocks
    • LV transformers including protection circuits and interlocks
    • AC/DC and DC/DC converter
    • DC/AC inverter
    • Batteries
    • Drives and feeders
    • Completion of commissioning documents and preparation of the associated commissioning documentation package
    • Conducting “on-the-job-training” to Employer´s personnel
    • Troubleshooting LV/MV/DC engineering problems within Siemens scope of supply including interfaces to other scopes
    • Service for reporting disagreements or non-conformances to allow introduction of project-specific solutions and to ensure information feedback.
    • Handover of commissioned systems
    • Keeping contact with customers and project management


Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc or MSc)
  • Control system (PCS7, T3000 preference) and high voltage knowledge can be an advantage
  • English language skill (intermediate level or above)
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Flexibility, willingness to participate in 4-16 months of international projects
  • Self-sufficient, independent, quality-oriented personality
  • Team player mindset, excellent adaptability
  • Ability to lead, leadership skills
  • Decisiveness
  • Openness to other cultures
  • Living in the country but willing to work internationally (no need to move to Budapest) Commitment to global operations, partly under challenging conditions and the declared intention to work and live in foreign cultures for long periods (minimum 5 years)
  • Valid passport and an international driving license
